- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data protection inquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders
- Monitor and report on data protection risks, recommending corrective actions as needed
- Train employees on data privacy best practices and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Law, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CISSP preferred
- Experience with data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and privacy by design frameworks
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
