Data Project Manager

About the Role

BlueAngle is seeking an experienced Data Project Manager to lead all data workstreams for our clients, including ERP data migration, data platform and warehouse builds, BI and reporting, and data governance. You will run the data workstream within a broader program that includes an ERP transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or SAP, working alongside the ERP Project Manager and reporting to client executives and business sponsors.

What You Will Do

Scope, plan, and lead data workstreams: charter, plan, budget, resourcing, and governance.

Own ERP data migration from strategy through mock conversions, reconciliation, and cutover.

Lead data platform, warehouse, and Power BI reporting delivery.

Drive data quality, ownership, and sign-off with finance, supply chain, and IT stakeholders.

Report to steering committees at the C-level, VP, and business sponsor levels.

Help clients create TSAs, plan TSA exits that meet target deal dates, and manage transaction risk.

Transition data platforms and reporting into BlueAngle managed services.

What You Bring

10+ years of data and analytics delivery experience, with at least three full-lifecycle data programs as project manager.

Led data migration on at least two ERP implementations (D365, NetSuite, or SAP preferred).

Working knowledge of Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake, and Power BI.

Experience at an MSP, systems integrator, or consulting firm (required).

M&A transaction experience, including creating and exiting TSAs, with a working understanding of deal strategy and risk (required).

Prior hands-on technical roles, such as data engineer, BI developer, or ERP consultant, before moving into project management.

Experience leading programs at companies with $300M+ revenue, reporting to C-level, VP, and business sponsor stakeholders.

PMP or PRINCE2 strongly preferred; Microsoft data certifications are a plus.

US work authorization required; sponsorship is not available.

Role Working Conditions

Full-time, W-2, exempt position. US-based, remote-first.

Work schedule is eastern time zone business hours.

Travel of 10 to 30% depending on portfolio needs, with higher travel during discovery, steering committees, and go-live for strategic engagements. Travel expenses reimbursed per BlueAngle travel policy.
