Perform data privacy activities across Doha Bank in line with policies, procedures, and applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
Support development and implementation of the bank's data privacy program, compliance mechanisms, and staff training.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform assigned operational activities in compliance with local regulations and approved organizational policies and procedures.
- Support development and implementation of the bank's data privacy framework and program.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
- Prepare data privacy policies, procedures, and notices and review them annually.
- Support implementation of data privacy policies, procedures, and notices across the bank.
- Assist with maintaining Records of Processing Activities and Data Flow Diagrams.
- Perform Data Privacy Impact Assessments for business processes and IT applications processing personal data.
- Coordinate compliance of business processes and IT applications with internal data privacy policies and procedures.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in the financial services or banking industry in the relevant discipline.
- Previous data privacy, data protection, or data compliance experience in the financial services industry.
