- Act as the Data Privacy Officer (DPO) and subject matter expert, advising internal teams on lawful and ethical data processing across all business functions and operating regions (GCC & Middle East).
- Implement and maintain data privacy policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with applicable regulations across countries such as UAE, KSA, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, and Lebanon.
- Lead privacy training, awareness programs, and workshops to promote a strong privacy-first culture across the organization.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, and business units to align on data protection strategies, tools, and implementation.
- Monitor regulatory developments and global privacy trends, advising stakeholders on legal, operational, and reputational risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulators, managing audits, inquiries, and external communications related to data protection.
- Prepare and maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments across systems, processes, and digital platforms.
- Oversee and manage data privacy incidents and breaches, ensuring timely investigation, reporting, and remediation in coordination with Legal and Information Security teams.
- Manage and respond to data subject rights requests (access, rectification, deletion, etc.) in accordance with applicable laws.
- Supervise and guide junior team members/analysts working on privacy operations, reporting, and compliance activities.
• Key Skills Required
- Minimum 4 years’ experience of demonstrated experience in data privacy.
- Advanced knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations in the company’s operating countries.
- Certifications, such as CIPM or CIPP/E.
- Experience with data protection tools, (Securiti.AI) is preferred. Immediate joiners preferred
