Overview
- Hays is partnering with a leading organisation who is looking for a Data Ops Engineer to own the DataOps backbone — from pipeline engineering and data quality to governance, CI/CD, and production reliability.
- Why this role?
- Own end‑to‑end DataOps for high‑impact AI and data products
- Define the “golden path” for delivering trusted, production‑ready data pipelines
- Work with cutting‑edge Azure data stacks across Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, and lakehouse architectures
- Act as the technical authority for production‑ready data, including governance, lineage, and performance
- What we’re looking for:
- 6–8 years in Data Engineering / DataOps / Analytics Engineering
- Strong Azure data platform experience (ADF/Fabric, Synapse, ADLS Gen2, Databricks)
- Expertise in SQL, Python/PySpark, and modern data engineering patterns
- Hands‑on experience with data governance, lineage (Purview), CI/CD, and IaC
- Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP‑203) (required)
