Design, validate, and review conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring alignment with enterprise canonical models, business definitions, and architectural standards.

Review SAP source-to-target mappings, data structures, business rules, and data contracts to ensure functional accuracy and technical soundness.

Working with Databricks and their services as per project needs.

Leverage Databricks platform knowledge to ensure data models support effective data integration, transformation, governance, reporting, and analytics.

Ensure adherence to data modeling standards, data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance requirements.

Collaborate with Data Product Managers, Data Engineering Leads, Data Stewards, SAP functional teams, and Enterprise/Solution Architects throughout design, build, and deployment.

Participate in design reviews, peer reviews, architecture consultations, and CAB documentation to ensure design approval and release readiness.

Identify data inconsistencies and modeling gaps, recommend improvements, and provide guidance to engineering teams on data design best practices.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 4–6 years of relevant experience in data modeling, SAP data, or a similar role.

Strong SAP functional and business domain expertise in at least one area: Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash (OTC), or Finance.

Good understanding of SAP modules, business processes, master and transactional data, and cross-functional data relationships.

Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, source-to-target mapping, canonical data models, and data modeling best practices.

Hands-on experience with Databricks, with a good understanding of its data platform capabilities, SQL, lakehouse architecture, and analytical data processing.

Understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, data harmonization, and enterprise data standards.

Knowledge of BI, reporting, and analytics requirements and the ability to design models that support downstream data consumption.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge business, SAP functional, and data engineering teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify data-related issues, propose solutions, and make data-driven decisions.

Familiarity with data profiling, data cleansing, data harmonization, and data quality assessment techniques.
