Role overview
Supports onboarding of clients to the Premier Construction Software platform by extracting, preparing, validating, mapping, and importing their data.
Responsibilities
- Manage migration activities for new client implementations, including data collection, review, mapping, cleansing, validation, and import.
- Coordinate with Implementation, Support, and clients on data structures, business requirements, and migration timelines.
- Analyze legacy data and prepare it for application import; identify quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps and work with clients to resolve them.
- Validate and reconcile migrated data for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain migration documentation, templates, and best practices.
- Support migrated-data testing and go-live; troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems.
- Improve migration processes and guide clients on data requirements, formatting, and readiness.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data migration, data analysis, software implementation, or a related role.
- Experience with spreadsheets, CSV files, databases, and data import/export processes.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand data relationships, field mapping, and transformation requirements; able to manage large datasets and multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power Automate.
Assets and preferred qualifications
- Experience with SaaS, ERP, business, or construction software is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or reporting tools is considered an asset.
- A bachelor’s degree or college diploma is preferred.
