About the role
Own the accuracy and integrity of customer data migrations into ClearRisk's platform, including source-to-target mapping, transformation verification, and migration execution.

What you'll do
- Gather requirements and define source-to-target data mapping specifications with the Business Analyst and Implementation team.
- Verify mappings and transformations before and after loading to ensure accurate data that reflects customer needs.
- Execute standard migrations and integrations using internal ETL tooling.
- Partner with developers on custom integrations to validate specifications and output data; this is a validation role, not a build role.
- Document mapping decisions and transformation logic so others understand the reasoning.
- Flag data-quality issues, ambiguities, and edge cases for resolution.
What you'll bring
- Strong Excel and spreadsheet fluency, and comfort with ETL-style tooling.
- Demonstrated focus on data accuracy and quality, ideally with examples of catching subtle issues.
- Ability to understand and question business context and the value of data.
- Comfort working with developers, reading a data model, asking questions, and evaluating output without writing code.
Additional experience
- Data-focused coding experience such as Python or SQL is advantageous.
- AI-assisted tooling experience for mapping suggestions, data review, or documentation is beneficial.
- Experience handling sensitive data in regulated environments is a bonus.
- Familiarity with insurance and risk management is a plus.
Location
- The role can be based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, or remote.
