About Keyloop

Keyloop builds technology connecting vehicle dealers, manufacturers, technology suppliers, and car buyers.

Its platform links client systems and uses data to support efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.

Role overview

An experienced contractor will lead analysis, design, and execution of a migration between a Salesforce source org and target org, using Microsoft SQL Server for staging and transformation.

The role owns the end-to-end migration data workstream, from source profiling and mapping through transformation, loading, reconciliation, and cutover.

The position can be filled at Data Analyst or Data Architect level; architect-level candidates will additionally shape the migration approach and standards.

Main duties

  • Define migration scope, approach, sequencing, cutover, and rollback considerations.
  • Profile source data and document object- and field-level mappings.
  • Build SQL Server staging schemas and T-SQL transformation and cleansing logic.
  • Migrate relationships and ownership while preserving referential integrity and record ID cross-references.
  • Load data with suitable tools, handle errors and reruns, and run migration cycles through production cutover.
  • Validate and reconcile migrated data and provide sign-off evidence.
  • Coordinate with Salesforce and business stakeholders, manage migration risks, and follow privacy and security standards.
  • Document scripts, mappings, runbooks, lessons learned, and handover materials.

Essential skills and qualifications

  • Hands-on Salesforce migration experience, ideally including a full production cutover.
  • Strong Salesforce data-model knowledge, including objects, relationships, record types, and fields.
  • Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including procedures, large joins, performance tuning, and data quality checks.
  • Experience with Salesforce extraction and loading tools or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience in profiling, cleansing, deduplication, mapping, reconciliation, and audit trails.
  • Understanding of Salesforce ownership, sharing, validation, automation, API limits, and record ID considerations.
  • Awareness of GDPR and secure customer-data handling.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and ability to work independently in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Desirable skills

  • Salesforce certifications are desirable.
