A client in the government domain seeks a Data Mapping & Integrity Analyst for data quality, documentation, and modernization initiatives involving the Licensure and Regulation System (LARS).
The role leads data mapping and integrity assessments, supports reporting, and assists with modernization and data migration.
Location and work arrangement
- The role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and requires onsite attendance during initial training.
- Hybrid work may be available after training depending on performance and business needs.
Schedule and duration
- Long-term contract.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST.
Responsibilities
- Identify, validate, and document existing LARS data fields; analyze relationships, dependencies, and usage across reports, certificates, correspondence, extracts, and API feeds.
- Maintain mapping documents and data dictionaries; identify inconsistencies, gaps, and data-definition issues.
- Use SQL for data profiling, validation, and integrity reviews; document anomalies and recommend data quality and governance improvements.
- Work with business users to validate data usage and improve accuracy.
- Respond to ServiceNow and help desk reporting and data extraction requests; develop SQL queries and validate and document outputs.
- Maintain report documentation and SQL scripts in designated repositories.
- Support LARS modernization and migration; participate in vendor meetings and provide legacy-data expertise.
- Review source-to-target mappings and assist with migration testing, validation, issue resolution, and user acceptance.
- Contribute to future-state reporting, dashboards, and data governance initiatives.
Required qualifications
- Strong experience with SQL querying, data profiling, and data validation.
- Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with data mapping, documentation, and data dictionaries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; experience supporting reporting and data extraction requests.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting data migration and modernization projects; knowledge of data governance and master data management principles.
- Experience reviewing source-to-target mapping documentation and familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing processes.
- Experience in government, healthcare, or regulatory environments.
