Job Purpose
The Data Management Development Lead is responsible for leading the development, governance, and optimization of technical data and document management systems supporting operations and digital transformation initiatives.
The role focuses on metadata management, digital document solutions, application development, data quality, and integration across multiple enterprise systems to support a TAG-centric digital ecosystem.
Key Activities
- Ensure availability, accuracy, and integrity of technical documentation and metadata.
- Maintain and develop digital document management solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Support digital transformation, Digital Twin, and data governance programs.
- Drive continuous improvement in document accessibility, data quality, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and data governance requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Information Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in document control, data management, digital information management, or project information management within the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial sectors.
- Proven experience supporting large EPC/EPCIC projects and operational assets.
- Strong background in metadata management, document management systems, and structured data environments.
- Experience with digital transformation programs, Digital Twin initiatives, and process automation.
- Knowledge of enterprise systems integration, including SAP and engineering data platforms.
Skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and information management best practices.
- Familiarity with technical documentation standards and TAG numbering systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in English; French a plus
