Data Management Analyst (12-Month Fixed Term)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop BI solutions and create datasets using SQL, Excel, and reporting tools.
• Build Power BI reports and dashboards using organizationally aligned data models.
• Design ETL processes and unit tests in a data warehouse environment; identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Analyze requirements for projects and enhancements, prepare technical specifications, and support ongoing BI and data solution operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Related university degree or college diploma, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• At least 5 years of data warehouse, dimensional or semantic modeling, and BI development experience.
• At least 5 years of SQL experience with MS T-SQL or Oracle PL-SQL.
• More than 2 years of Power BI development experience, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard design.
• Strong business-needs analysis, communication, analytical, prioritization, and task-management abilities.
• DP-600 or DP-700 Microsoft Fabric certification is considered an asset.

Compensation

• Target hiring salary is $96,800 to $113,800; placement depends on internal equity, market conditions, and relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
