Role overview
Senior individual-contributor role owning Etio's end-to-end data and reporting capability, from ingestion through insight.

Salary
- Salary is £75,000–£82,000.
Location and travel
- Remote role based in the United Kingdom.
- Occasional travel for team and stakeholder meetings as required.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and optimise ADF and SSIS pipelines and maintain reliable, monitored data flows.
- Own database standards across Azure SQL, SQL Server and the approximately 20-database elastic pool.
- Integrate pipelines with organisational tools and onboard new programmes into the data architecture.
- Manage Microsoft Fabric capacity and build lakehouses, pipelines and OneLake assets.
- Own data integrity, data segregation, access security and organisation-wide data processes.
- Develop Power BI dashboards, maintain legacy SSRS reports and create data schemas.
- Develop data-roadmap options and recommendations for Director review and sign-off.
- Guide data resources and provide quality oversight to contractors or support providers without formal line management.
Platforms and capabilities
- Existing services include Power BI, Azure SQL, SQL Server, SSRS, ADF and SSIS.
- The modern data platform is based on Microsoft Fabric and OneLake.
- The role covers ETL, database standards, reporting, data integrity and security.
Working style
The postholder is expected to work hands-on, autonomously and with urgency, balancing pace with workload and resolving blockers and risks.
Requirements
- Senior, multi-skilled data professional able to own end-to-end data and reporting capability.
- Able to work independently with significant autonomy and minimal supervision while delivering hands-on technical work.
- Able to provide technical direction and quality oversight to data resources and external support providers without formal line management.
