Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in Nairobi County, Kenya.

The Writer will create clear, engaging content for company websites, marketing materials, social media, client communications, and internal documents.

Day-to-day tasks include researching topics related to moving and relocation, drafting and revising service descriptions, customer guides, blog posts, and FAQs, and ensuring all content aligns with the company’s brand voice.

The role also involves editing and proofreading materials for accuracy and clarity, collaborating with operations and customer service teams to translate complex processes into easy-to-understand language, and supporting the development of promotional campaigns.

The Writer will help maintain consistent messaging across all channels while meeting deadlines and content quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content in English.
  • Experience creating content for websites, marketing materials, social media, or customer communications.
  • Ability to conduct basic research and translate information into user-friendly guides, FAQs, and service descriptions.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Good collaboration skills and willingness to work closely with operations, sales, and customer service teams on-site.
  • Familiarity with basic digital tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and online collaboration platforms).
  • Previous experience in writing, communications, marketing, or a related field is an advantage; experience in logistics or moving services is a plus.
  • Diploma or degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
