Data Entry and Purchase Coordinator

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Enter purchase orders, goods received notes, and stock transfers accurately into the system.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate orders and deliveries with suppliers.
• Prepare and consolidate purchase orders based on department requirements.
• Maintain item master data, including product codes, barcodes, prices, and categories.
• Coordinate with department heads on stock requirements and inventory updates.
• Conduct regular stock reconciliation and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory, stock-loss, and stock-valuation reports.
• Compare supplier prices and support purchasing decisions.
• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving items.
• Support promotional activities and internal and external stock audits.

Requirements

• Previous experience in data entry, purchasing, inventory, or retail operations; freshers can apply.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and computer applications.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP software is an advantage.
• Good organizational, numerical, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers and multiple departments.
• Hypermarket or supermarket experience is preferred.
• The experience listing specifies one year as a data entry operator in a supermarket.

Pay and Employment Type

• Full-time position.
• Pay is AED 1,400–1,800 per month.
