Build scalable data solutions for Meta products and internal teams, collaborating with software engineering, data science, and product management.
Use data to improve growth, strategy, and user experience across Meta's products and services.
Data engineering and product leadership
- Own data architecture for large-scale projects and evaluate design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs.
- Improve logging frameworks, resolve data infrastructure issues, and manage dataset service-level agreements.
- Build data models and visualizations; solve integrations across structured and unstructured sources using ETL patterns.
- Apply privacy safeguards, ensure data quality, improve governance, and optimize production pipelines and systems.
- Use data to shape product development and opportunities; communicate insights to influence partners.
- Mentor team members with actionable feedback.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience primarily working with data.
- At least 4 years with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and one programming language, or 2 years with a Ph.D.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve workflows and measurable outcomes.
- Ongoing AI development, such as prompt/context engineering or agent orchestration.
- Master's or Ph.D. in a STEM field.
