Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate batch and incremental data pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • Develop and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake.
  • Write automation and operational scripts to orchestrate, monitor, and troubleshoot data workflows.
  • Implement data quality checks, validation, lineage, and alerting.
  • Tune query performance and manage warehouse cost and resource usage.
  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and application teams to understand requirements and deliver datasets.
  • Document pipelines, schemas, and data contracts.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with scripting languages (for example Bash).
  • Advanced SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (warehouses, stages, tasks, streams, role-based access).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with orchestration tools (for example Airflow) and transformation frameworks (for example dbt).
  • Familiarity with AWS or GCP data services.
  • Exposure to data governance, security, and privacy practices.

  • Minimum Compensation: USD 47,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 165,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role. Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.   • Maximum Compensation: USD 165,000
