Data Engineer

Role overview

What you'll do

• Build and maintain data pipelines consolidating internal and external sources.
• Support Snowflake environment management and optimisation, data quality, governance, and scalability.
• Develop reusable datasets and data products for customer migration, retention, and expansion.
• Automate manual workflows and contribute to customer segmentation models and scoring engines.
• Help develop AI-enabled tools using AWS Bedrock and related services.
• Collaborate with commercial analysts and stakeholders on scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• Practical data engineering experience gained through work, internships, or projects.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with large-scale datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and some AWS exposure.
• Experience designing or contributing to data pipelines or analytical workflows.
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders and ability to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Problem-solving mindset focused on business outcomes.

Bonus experience

• Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses; Python development for data-driven applications.
• Customer segmentation, propensity modelling, or predictive analytics.
• SaaS, subscription, or recurring revenue business models.
• Power BI or other data visualisation tools; data governance and quality management.
