Data Engineer

Key Duties:

Lead complex data analysis projects that drive strategic decision-making.

Mentor junior data analysts and oversee their projects.

Develop, refine, and implement policies and standards for data analysis and handling.

Engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive data insights.

Innovate and implement key performance indicators and new data collection and analysis processes

Collect and organize data from primary or secondary data sources.

Independently analyse and interpret data trends or patterns.

Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.

Provide detailed reports and visualization of data with actionable insights.

Collaborate with different functional teams to implement or assess business requirements

Must have skills:

Azure Data Factory and Databricks Expertise: Skilled in building, managing, and optimizing pipelines, workflows, and clusters.

SQL Proficiency: Advanced skills in writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing queries for performance

Advanced use of SQL and proficiency in data modelling.

Expertise in data visualization and business intelligence software like Tableau and Power BI.

Strong leadership and project management skills.

Proficient in statistical programming languages like Python and R.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
