- Each day, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) oversees the massive flow of people, capital, and products that enter and depart the United States via air, land, sea, and cyberspace. The volume and complexity of both physical and virtual border crossings require the application of solutions to promote efficient trade and travel. - Assist with implementing cloud architecture and workflows (migrating on-premise workloads to Cloud Platforms).
- Respond to data queries/analysis requests from various groups within an organization, creating and publishing regularly scheduled and/or ad hoc reports as needed.
- Research and document data definitions for all subject areas and primary data sets supporting the core business applications.
- Manage source code control using GitLab while leveraging application-relevant cargo and passenger data and databases to support analytic application development, functionality, and targeting end user (officer) operations.

- Experience supporting full-lifecycle data warehousing or enterprise data platform projects, including experience with large-scale data architecture, design, and implementation or migration.
- Experience working with relational or non-relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, NoSQL, or similar).
- Experience with data integration, data pipeline construction, or Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) development and related concepts.
- Experience with cloud environments (such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar) and assisting with cloud migrations or cloud-native development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools.
- Experience with SQL querying, BI tools (Power BI, OBIEE), and data analysis.
- Experience with big data frameworks and distributed processing (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop).
