About the Role
At Avrioc, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and product owners, designing and scaling algorithms and data platforms that impact millions of users. If you enjoy taking ideas from concept to large-scale execution, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data practitioner needs and deliver solutions at scale
- Define, build, and maintain the Data Platform
- Develop distributed applications using emerging technologies
- Own end-to-end development to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
- Translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes
- Contribute to Data Discovery, Data Lineage, and Data Quality initiatives
- Build robust data systems, pipelines, and analytical tools
- Perform complex data analysis and present actionable insights
What We’re Looking For
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ingestion, ETL, data warehousing, and distributed processing
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Spark Streaming
- Experience working with MongoDB, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Kafka topics
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Spark SQL , and Databricks
- Ability to build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines
- Experience optimizing Databricks clusters and writing performance-efficient code
- Strong pipeline monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement experience
- Familiarity with Kibana, QlikView, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
