- Data Centre Cable Technician – Doha \| QAR 3,000/month \| Full-Time
- g3hive is a GCC-based IT infrastructure company delivering enterprise data centre projects across Qatar and the wider region.
- We are currently hiring a Data Centre Cable Technician to support our senior engineers on live deployment projects in Doha.
- About the work:
- The role is entirely physical – no IT qualifications or configuration experience needed.
- Day to day you will be racking and stacking servers, switches, and storage units, running and dressing structured cabling inside and between racks, applying cable and device labels, and keeping the site organised.
- You will receive clear direction from our lead engineer throughout.
- You must:
- Be based in Doha, Qatar
- Be physically fit and comfortable in a data centre environment
- Have basic familiarity with server hardware, rack units, and cabling
- Hold a valid Qatar driving licence or be eligible to obtain one
- Be able to travel freely within Qatar without restrictions
- Be reliable and able to follow instructions carefully
- No formal qualifications required.
- Prior cabling or data centre experience is a bonus but not essential.
Package
QAR 3,000 per month \| Freelance / Contract basis \| Project work with potential for ongoing engagement \| Potentially Full-Time with visa-sponsor for the right candidate.
