The Role

What You'll Do

• Capture all data and features of parts to reverse engineer them and create the 3D CAD model and 2D drawings.
• Operate part identification, scanning and annotation stations.
• Operate Data Capturing Units as per Immensa Standards of Practice.
• Capture all data, dimensions and features of mechanical components and assemblies to generate the final 3D CAD model and engineering drawings of functional components.
• Operate and maintain various scanning technologies, ensuring adherence to the right scanning techniques for different part types.
• Operate various measurement tools.
• Identify the material and hardness of mechanical parts.
• Identify thread types.
• Create annotation files that annotate and highlight all required features.
• Conduct a final inspection of all captured data before releasing it to the design team.
• Work with data management platforms to ensure structured data handling and archiving.
• Work with inspection software.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university, or an equivalent degree.
• Knowledge of reverse engineering and CAD design of functional components.
• Knowledge of dimensional measurement and drafting 2D manufacturing engineering drawings.
• Experience with engineering and modelling software.
• Problem-solving skills to counter issues in advance.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Self-motivated, a self-starter and a fast learner, able to take direction from multiple sources.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with pressure and tight deadlines.
• Experience with inspection software.
