About the company
The company provides environmental and site services across Southern California, including portable restrooms, temporary fencing and power, pumping, and restroom and shower trailers.
Its customers span construction, special events, commercial, industrial, and residential markets.
Data extraction and integration
- Access data from Tower AMCS, the call center phone system, and other applications using SQL, databases, APIs, exports, and available methods.
- Combine data from multiple systems into integrated datasets.
- Clean, transform, validate, and reconcile data; investigate inconsistencies with relevant departments.
- Document data sources, calculations, business rules, and processes.
Reporting and call center analytics
- Report on operational performance, customer service, productivity, revenue, costs, and key business metrics across locations, teams, customers, and service lines.
- Handle ad hoc reporting requests and improve report accuracy, usefulness, accessibility, and efficiency.
- Analyze call volumes, service levels, speed to answer, abandonment, average handle time, and other available measures.
- Analyze customer service and order-processing activity for trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
Business analysis and improvement
- Communicate findings, trends, and recommendations clearly to ownership and management.
- Reduce manual spreadsheet work, standardize reporting processes, and develop scalable solutions for company growth.
Required qualifications
- Approximately three to five years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related technical field.
- Strong SQL skills, including querying, joining tables, aggregating data, investigating discrepancies, and preparing datasets.
- Experience extracting, cleaning, transforming, validating, and integrating data from multiple business systems.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accurate, consistent data.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and proactively identify improvements.
- Ability to collaborate and explain technical concepts and business implications in clear, practical language.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with operational systems such as ERP, Oracle Cloud, databases, Crystal Reports, field service management, waste management, equipment rental, logistics, or transportation; Microsoft SQL and Dynamics 365 expertise is a plus.
- Experience with AMCS products, especially Tower AMCS, or with call center, CRM, workforce management, or customer service integrations.
- Familiarity with APIs, database connectors, scheduled exports, ETL/ELT, automated pipelines, data warehouses, or centralized reporting datasets.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, Dynamics 365, Oracle Cloud, Crystal Reports, Python, or other scripting languages.
- A bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, information systems, computer science, finance, or a related field is preferred.
