About The Role

• Our client, a is a diversified global investment company that manages an asset portfolio across 13 countries.
• It shapes the emirate's economic landscape through strategic real estate, hospitality, retail, media, and venture investments.
• The role will be responsible for defining scalable integration patterns, API strategies, event-driven architectures, and enterprise data flows that enable business agility, digital transformation, and AI-driven initiatives across multiple business entities.
• The architect will work closely with application teams, cloud engineering, data teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless connectivity, trusted data exchange, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• What you'll be responsible for
• Define and maintain target-state architectures for enterprise integration, APIs, messaging, event streaming, and data platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Establish architecture standards, integration patterns, and governance processes to ensure secure, scalable, and reusable integrations between enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, operational systems, and data platforms.
• Drive API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, and real-time integration capabilities while supporting strategic initiatives involving customer platforms, ERP systems, digital channels, loyalty platforms, and emerging AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to design enterprise data flows, master data integration approaches, and data-sharing frameworks that support analytics, reporting, machine learning, and agentic AI use cases.
• Participate in architecture review boards, evaluate integration technologies and vendors, oversee solution design reviews, and support technology modernization and rationalization initiatives across the Group.
• Ensure architecture documentation is maintained within LeanIX and related architecture repositories, providing visibility into integrations, interfaces, data flows, and technology dependencies.
• Bring proven experience as a Data Architect, Integration Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle, Workday, hospitality systems, loyalty platforms, or digital commerce solutions will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning data pipelines, retrieval architectures, and agentic AI integration patterns will be considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, communication, and architecture governance skills are essential.
• What we're looking for
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• TOGAF certification preferred.
• Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Integration Services, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
• Data-related certifications (Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Informatica, etc.) are advantageous
• Key skills
• Experience in architecture governance, platform selection, and large-scale transformation programmes.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Integration Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in enterprise integration technologies is essential, including APIs, middleware, ESB/iPaaS platforms, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and microservices.
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Azure Integration Services, or similar technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture concepts including data modelling, master data management, metadata management, data governance, data quality, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as Azure and/or AWS is required, along with familiarity with API management, event streaming technologies, and modern data lake or lakehouse architectures.
• Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle, Workday, hospitality systems, loyalty platforms, or digital commerce solutions will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning data pipelines, retrieval architectures, and agentic AI integration patterns will be considered a strong advantage.
