Financial reporting and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain Real Estate Finance BI reports and dashboards.
- Build Power BI dashboards from data modeling and report development through visualization and end-user reporting.
- Strengthen data accuracy and integrity with validation and reconciliation processes.
- Support analytics platform improvements and enterprise initiatives.
- Use financial statement knowledge to interpret and help build P&L models for business performance analysis.
Analytics and strategic insights
- Develop forecasting, variance analysis, and portfolio performance models using Python, statistical methods, and Excel.
- Create executive dashboards with actionable insights for portfolio strategy and investment decisions.
- Brief Real Estate Finance leadership with data-driven strategic recommendations.
- Translate financial and operational data into insights using knowledge of P&L drivers, budgeting, and financial modeling.
Platforms and stakeholder enablement
- Support adoption and implementation of cloud-based analytics platforms and contribute production-grade data infrastructure and analytics automation.
- Contribute to enterprise data governance and analytics standards.
- Enable self-service analytics, reduce ad hoc report requests, and partner with Finance leadership to define KPIs and metrics.
- Present insights and explain data logic to executives; collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, and investigate emerging analytics opportunities including AI/ML.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial analysis.
- Experience with LLMs for AI agents and/or using AI to develop Python tools for automated analysis and production-grade business solutions.
- Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities, including development and governance of foundational data assets for semantic layers and BI solutions.
