Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, processing, and delivering high-quality data to empower decision-making across various departments. The ideal candidate brings robust SQL expertise, an eye for detail, an AI-forward mindset, and the proven ability to transform diverse datasets into accurate, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries across MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
• Reconcile and evaluate data from multiple sources, proactively identifying and resolving any inconsistencies or discrepancies.
• Design and implement strategies to enhance database structures, data integration pipelines, and overall reporting processes.
• Design, build, and maintain data models, reports, and interactive dashboards to serve business stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of data, reports, and actionable insights.
• Take initiative on ad-hoc analytical tasks and specialized projects as assigned by the Head of Department.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), specifically MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Advanced knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and query optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting, along with a working familiarity of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and Google Sheets for rapid data manipulation and analysis.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex datasets to generate business value.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical findings clearly.
• A strong team player who can collaborate effectively while also managing independent workloads.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with trading platform databases (e.g., MT4, MT5, cTrader) and a solid understanding of Forex markets or financial systems.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, particularly SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) / Visual Studio Data Tools.
• Knowledge of MDX or DAX to query analysis services and create highly complex reports.
• Proficiency in Python for advanced data analysis, scripting, and task automation.
• Hands-on experience or a strong conceptual understanding of integrating AI tools and methodologies into data analysis workflows.
