About This Role
1. Data Analysis, Dashboard & Report Development
- Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple internal and external sources
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Build efficient data models and implement best practices in visualization and storytelling
- Ensure accuracy, performance, and usability of dashboards and reports
2. Business Insights & Analytics
- Translate business requirements into analytical and reporting solutions
- Analyze trends, patterns, and performance metrics to generate actionable insights
- Track KPIs and develop performance monitoring frameworks
- Provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a data partner for business units (Sales, Finance, Operations, etc.)
- Gather and refine reporting requirements from stakeholders
- Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide training and support for end users on dashboards and reports
4. Data Engineering, Modeling & Governance
- Develop and maintain robust data models using best practices (star schema, etc.)
- Work with ELT/ETL processes and ensure data pipeline integrity
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across datasets
- Manage dataset refresh schedules, access permissions, and governance policies
- Document data sources, logic, and report definitions
5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve existing reports, KPIs, and dashboards
- Propose new analytical use cases and automation opportunities
- Enhance overall data maturity within the organization
- Promote data storytelling and self-service BI adoption
