The Data Analyst partners with the Quality Management Department to turn quality data into clear insights that drive decisions.
The role builds and maintains tools, databases, and reports for collecting and organizing quality data, analyzes trends, and recommends practical improvements.
This position is fully on site at Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Develop and build data-collection tools and databases; create, collect, and submit reports.
- Maintain QA databases and protect confidential QA data and other information.
- Analyze trends and emerging quality issues and recommend actions to improve quality, process performance, and compliance.
- Support patient satisfaction through excellent customer service; collaborate with staff to maintain effective workflow and professional relationships.
- Maintain competency in applicable regulatory standards, facilitate survey-visit workflow, and participate in performance improvement programs.
- Attend meetings, assist with presentation materials, and use logical or scientific reasoning to investigate problems and draw conclusions.
- Perform other administrative functions and assigned duties or projects.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in arts or science.
- Prior experience in healthcare QA data management.
- Experience in data management and computer programs needed for the job, including EMR/EPIC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
Compensation
- Starting minimum rate is $83,782.40 annually; the posting describes this as a good-faith estimate of minimum base pay, not a guaranteed offer.
