Role overview

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, engineering, and customers to understand analytics needs.
• Build dashboards, reports, and analytical tools for internal and external users.
• Use complex SQL to analyze large financial and operational datasets.
• Define and maintain business metrics and KPIs; identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Drive analytical projects from exploration through delivery and work with engineers to improve data models and datasets.
• Develop retailer performance dashboards, analyze deduction and dispute data, support sales and demand forecasting, and create analysis-ready datasets and visual insights.

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis or analytics roles.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Strong experience building dashboards and analytical reports.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with BI tools such as Omni, Looker, or Mode.
• Experience with financial, retail, or operational datasets.
• Comfort working directly with users.
• Interest in early-stage startups and high-ownership roles.
• Technical or quantitative degree.

Compensation and benefits

• Compensation range: $155,000–$200,000; no pay cadence is stated.
