Responsibilities

  • Acquire, clean, and validate data from operational, experimentation, modeling & simulation, and other enterprise sources.
  • Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and basic predictive analytics to identify trends, relationships, and performance drivers.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualization products to communicate analytic findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operational subject matter experts, data engineers, and data scientists to define requirements and ensure data integrity and analytic relevance.
  • Support the development of metrics, measures of effectiveness (MOE), and measures of performance (MOP) for capability development and experimentation efforts.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and limitations to ensure analytic transparency and reproducibility.
  • Support briefings and working groups by providing data-driven insights and responding to ad hoc analytic requests.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience performing data analysis or business intelligence, preferably in a DoD/USMC environment.
  • Proficiency with common data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel with advanced functions, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Ability to work with structured and semi-structured data and conduct basic statistical analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate analytic results into operationally relevant insights.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting capability development, JCIDS, or experimentation/analysis within CD&I or similar organizations.
  • Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data wrangling and analysis.
