Data analyst focused on fraud within Puzzleplay’s user-segmentation work.
The system combines fraud and activity signals to understand users and inform revenue-share decisions.
Works with the gameplay-signals analyst and product and data colleagues as fraud patterns change.
Candidates may be based in Europe; Warsaw is preferred because several colleagues are located there.
Responsibilities
- Review, add, remove, and refine fraud signals to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users, including IP spoofing, VPN use, and unusual play patterns.
- Own fraud-related user segments, interpret signals, and monitor segment performance over time.
- Collaborate with product on verification tools for different markets; current tooling includes FaceTec, with ID scanning or phone verification possible in other countries.
- Investigate manually flagged users, including ambiguous Tremendous queue cases, and improve the review process.
- Identify gaps in fraud signals and recommend third-party tools for the product roadmap.
Required experience
- Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape fraud detection or prevention decisions.
- Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments, or review processes.
- Ability to turn analysis into operational fraud controls in collaboration with product and other teams.

- Hybrid working is offered.
- The role is open to candidates based in Europe; Warsaw is preferred.
