Role overview

Essential functions

• Develop dashboards by understanding business needs and translating integrated data into usable visualizations for business decisions.
• Interpret results and help users understand how to use dashboards.
• Engage business stakeholders, evaluate needs and ad hoc requests, and prioritize product efforts.
• Enhance data maturity and integration and standardize core value-added functionality.
• Collaborate with team members and help more junior colleagues succeed.
• Advance analytics beyond reporting and dashboarding through new data sources and actionable insights.
• Understand supply chain business problems and investigate their underlying causes.
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists on supply chain solutions and explore data lake and sandbox capabilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Tools and skills

• BI tools include Power BI and Tableau; Tableau is marked required.
• Exposure to ETL tools such as Alteryx or SSIS, data manipulation tools such as SQL, and object-oriented stacks such as .NET is listed.
• Strong verbal and written communication is required to explain complex technical concepts in business terms.
• Product innovation work with technology teams through build, test, and release uses agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or equivalent is required; a master’s degree in those areas or an MBA is preferred.
• At least 2 years creating dashboards for diagnostic business analysis and experience working in a cloud environment are required.
• At least 2 years of applied project experience demonstrating digital transformation or data management in an educational or project setting is required.
• Four or more years as an individual contributor and relied-upon team member is preferred.
