Data Analyst II - Retail Distribution & 3PL Operations

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports covering fulfillment, transportation, inventory, retailer compliance, delivery, cost, and distribution center capacity.
• Analyze performance gaps and operational data, prioritize improvement opportunities, investigate root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
• Support inventory planning, replenishment, capacity planning, and demand analysis; resolve discrepancies with Sales Operations and other stakeholders.
• Validate and troubleshoot data across ERP, warehouse management, and reporting systems.
• Coordinate inbound, outbound, and transfer shipments with distribution centers, supply chain teams, vendors, and transportation providers.
• Optimize shipping schedules and load consolidation to improve vehicle utilization, reduce empty miles, manage costs, and support on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales Operations on improvements and management reporting.
• Review shipment materials before distribution and collaborate to ensure timely pickups and expedited shipments.

Education and experience

• The posting lists 3–4 years of experience in data analysis, industrial engineering, logistics, distribution, or supply chain.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution environment is listed.

Preferred skills and experience

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and data visualization.
• Experience with Power BI, Google Scripts, SQL, and AI prompting.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Retail distribution, warehouse, logistics, or 3PL operations experience is preferred.
• ERP or WMS experience with NetSuite, Deposco, Logiwa, SAP, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Experience reporting for customers such as Walmart, PetSmart, Petco, Amazon, or Chewy is preferred.
