Education and Experience
- An engineering-background graduate is preferred.
- Requires 3+ years of Power BI experience in a product industry.
- SQL and Power BI knowledge are required.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency with Power BI and SQL queries and view creation; medium proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, organize tasks, and work collaboratively.
- Requires attention to detail, results orientation, process adherence, and seeing problems through to completion.
- Behavior competencies include customer focus, business partnership, communication, results orientation, and quality orientation.
Schedule Requirements
- Must be flexible to work different time zones and shifts.
- Must be flexible to work different holiday calendars.
Principal Responsibilities
- Connect Power BI to sources including SQL, Azure data lakes, Snowflake, and Excel.
- Prepare and publish daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reports according to agreed SLAs.
- Analyze data and identify possible business-growth opportunities.
- Create appropriate SQL tables, write queries for calculated fields, and monitor and resolve table-update failures.
- Work with SharePoint lists, workflows, and Power Apps.
- Use Excel pivots and formulas.
