Position summary
Analyze complex healthcare data to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Use quantitative analysis, reporting, and data modeling to identify trends, measure performance, and drive process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to turn business needs into analytical solutions and deliver data-driven recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets for trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, and analytical models for operational and financial performance.
- Prepare clear analytical summaries and presentations for executive audiences.
- Gather stakeholder needs, define requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Use SQL and other tools to query, transform, and prepare datasets; build joined datasets and validate data integrity.
- Partner with Operations, Account Management, Product, IT, and Data Management.
- Investigate root causes, recommend practical data-backed solutions, and validate analyses for accuracy.
- Document methods, assumptions, and processes; manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences and support continuous improvement through analysis and performance monitoring.
- Stay current on analytics tools, methodologies, and industry trends.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or relational databases.
- Experience with Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Three years of experience integrating Databricks, Power BI, and Claude Code.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology, including CPT codes, DRG, claims, and inpatient/outpatient terms.
- Experience with statistical analysis or predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and experience writing SQL queries.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Preferred qualifications
- Three to five years of experience in healthcare, revenue cycle, or SaaS is strongly preferred.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik is preferred.
