DATA ANALYST (contract)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Determine data requirements and implementation approaches with management, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
• Coordinate changes to reporting solutions, including Power BI and Microsoft Fabric dashboards.
• Design, implement, automate, and maintain enterprise ETL processes and databases.
• Test programs and databases, correct errors, and maintain data integrity.
• Analyze and manipulate data, optimize storage and analysis strategies, and provide recommendations on costs, including AI-related spend.

Requirements

• At least two years of hands-on data analysis, reporting, and Power BI experience; two to four years of applicable experience is specified.
• Proficiency with database technologies and management systems; strong knowledge of ETL and data pipeline development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, SQL, or PowerShell.
• Proven project delivery and actionable recommendations; strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Large-scale enterprise data experience is preferred; familiarity with AI concepts for cost analysis is a plus.

Pay and contract

• Pay range is $43–$48.50 per hour.
• Contract duration is eight months, with potential for extension.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

• Fully remote position requiring availability within the Pacific Time Zone.
