Role overview

Essential responsibilities

• Complete data requests and produce reports and dashboards in formats such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Conduct strategic analyses by querying, cleaning, manipulating, interpreting, visualizing, and presenting data using statistical techniques.
• Fulfill ad hoc data requests.
• Work with university stakeholders to map data flows and business processes and perform gap analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Education, Statistics, Social Work, Public Policy, Business, or a related field.
• At least one year manipulating large data sets with analytical software and/or coding languages such as R, SQL, or SAS; three years preferred.
• At least one year building reports, dashboards, and documentation and presenting findings; three years preferred.
• At least one year gathering data request specifications and delivering data products; three years preferred.
• At least one year using data visualization or analytical software such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAS; three years preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, technical capability, and project coordination and management skills.

Compensation and benefits

• Salary range: $53,136 to $77,047 per year.
