Role overview
A client is seeking a Reporting Analyst to improve data use, reporting, and business performance tracking.
The role is based on two to three onsite days in Birmingham or Northampton.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards for key business metrics and KPIs.
- Support consolidation and migration of reporting into Microsoft Fabric.
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and turn data into useful insights.
- Review existing reports and encourage self-service reporting.
- Investigate data anomalies and ensure reporting is accurate, relevant, and consistent.
What the employer is looking for
- Proven experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of relational databases.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate and explain data issues.
- A proactive approach and confidence working with stakeholders across different teams.
