Role overview
Works with the Operations and IT departments to assess and organize data from research, customer relations, and business relations for business needs.
Duties and responsibilities
- Analyze scoring algorithm performance and make modifications based on research and analysis.
- Use SAS and R to generate regular reports and assess the accuracy of credit-scoring decisions.
- Identify predictive variables that can improve scoring algorithm performance.
- Work with IT to implement changes to the scoring model system.
Skills and qualifications
- Requires 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Requires database management skills including MS SQL, advanced Power BI experience, and advanced Excel knowledge and skills.
- Requires knowledge of basic statistical concepts, models, and procedures; written and verbal communication in Spanish and English; organization and time management; analysis and reporting; and intermediate understanding of financial systems.
