The role owns and improves text analytics approaches and uses LLMs and other AI tools as part of a broader customer-insight toolkit.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate methods for comment classification, sentiment measurement, emerging issues, and root-cause analysis.
  • Own and improve models, workflows, data sources, the customer-feedback taxonomy, and Medallia survey text analytics.
  • Build repeatable datasets and self-service analysis tools with SQL, Python or R, and BigQuery.
  • Deliver end-to-end analysis and recommendations, connecting feedback with engagement, trips, spend, and future behavior.
  • Produce recurring, seasonal, event-based, and rapid-turn customer analyses.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define needs, success measures, data access, priorities, and measurement approaches.
  • Build business cases and support for analytical investments and roadmaps; collaborate across business, Technology, Product, and Analytics.
  • Review code, develop shared standards, and mentor junior analysts on analytics, storytelling, and responsible AI use.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a listed related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of data analytics, customer analytics, or related experience, including complex or ambiguous work.
  • Strong SQL and hands-on BigQuery or similar cloud data experience.
  • Python or R experience and experience analyzing unstructured text using NLP, LLMs, classification, or other text analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical judgment, validation skills, and ability to communicate insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Experience influencing cross-team decisions and engaging stakeholders around analytical priorities.

Preferred experience

  • GitHub or GitLab and Looker or Tableau experience.
  • AI-assisted coding experience such as Claude Code is a plus.
  • Experience with customer-feedback platforms or linking feedback with behavioral data is preferred.

Workplace

  • The title identifies the role as hybrid in Seattle.

Compensation

  • Pay range is USD 102,500–170,500 yearly; offers depend on location and other factors.
