The Control Manager Analyst/Associate supports the Chief Data and Analytics Officer within Finance Control Management.
The role evaluates risks, manages control issues and remediation, supports regulatory activity and helps build a consistent control environment across Firmwide Finance.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess operational risks and control environments; design controls and evaluate effectiveness.
- Manage control issues and oversee remediation plans.
- Coordinate audits and reviews of strategic program implementation; partner with teams during operational risk audits.
- Support regulatory engagements and compliance, and promote early risk identification and assessment.
- Present updates to senior management and manage governance and reporting, including control committees.
- Collaborate with other control managers to define best practices and engage on risks and issues.
Required qualifications and skills
- Ability to design and evaluate effective controls.
- Understanding of governance and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership and collaboration skills, and ability to engage senior management effectively.
Preferred qualifications and skills
- Experience in strategic program implementation; understanding of control management principles; experience in risk identification and assessment.
- Experience in regulatory engagements and compliance; familiarity with data management risks and controls or AI/ML risks and controls.
- Ability to manage control committees and forums.
