D365 F&O Consultant (Techno-Functional)

Overview

• Act as the in-house techno-functional owner of D365 F&O across GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Procurement, Inventory, Project Accounting, and Expense Management.
• Manage day-to-day platform operations, including month-end and year-end close support, master data governance, posting setups, and integration runs.
• Design and review technical solutions including X++ extensions, Chain of Command, data entities, OData, Logic Apps, and Power Platform.
• Lead integration architecture across D365 CE, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Liferay DXP, the TAMM platform, e-payment gateways, and host-to-host banking channels.
• Govern the LCS environment landscape, role-based security, segregation of duties, UAT and regression testing, and CAB-based change control.
• Manage Microsoft, implementation partners, and managed service providers across SOWs, SLAs, escalations, and performance reviews.
• Own the multi-year D365 F&O roadmap, including upgrades, new module roll-outs, and AI / Copilot enablement to maximize ROI.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, FTA e-invoicing, ISO 27001, and UAE PDPL; support internal and external audit cycles.
• Expert-level D365 F&O functional knowledge across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Accounting, and Budget Control.
• X++, Chain of Command, extensions, Data Management Framework, OData, BYOD / Synapse Link, and RSAT-based test automation.
• Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio), Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API Management.
• Tools: Lifecycle Services (LCS), Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Electronic Reporting, Financial Reporter, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and SLA governance skills; able to operate from board-level briefings to configuration-level detail.
