Job Description
Join a leading government entity and play a critical role in building and maintaining the IT Security posture, protecting systems, and securing sensitive data. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-impact environment safeguarding vital infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Support Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure teams by implementing and monitoring security measures. - Design and implement system security architectures aligned with policy standards and business requirements. - Ensure enterprise security architecture compliance across IT systems and network designs. - Harden operating systems, endpoints, network devices, applications, and databases against vulnerabilities. - Conduct regular security vulnerability scans, investigations, and threat mitigation. - Administer network security technologies including firewalls, IPS, DDoS solutions, SIEM, and VPN. - Prepare accurate and timely security and operational reports meeting organizational standards. Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar government IT security role. - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, MCSA/MCSE preferred. - Proven expertise in security architecture design, incident investigation, and network security administration. - Strong knowledge of endpoint protection, patch management, data loss prevention, and system hardening.
