Cyber Security Engineer

🚨 Senior Cybersecurity Engineer | Dubai, UAE

I’m hiring for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join a growing fintech/payment platform in Dubai.

This is a senior hands-on role for someone who can take real ownership across security operations, incident response, detection engineering and enterprise security tooling.

You’ll be working closely with senior IT and cybersecurity leadership, supporting a PCI DSS environment and helping protect payment platforms across endpoint, email, network and web-facing systems.

What we’re looking for:

✅ Currently based in the UAE

✅ Comfortable working onsite from the Dubai office

✅ Fluent English communication skills

✅ 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity / security operations experience

✅ Strong incident response experience from triage through to post-incident review

✅ Hands-on SIEM/XDR and EDR experience, including tuning or detection engineering

✅ Experience with MDR / managed SOC services

✅ Knowledge of PCI DSS, DORA, ISO 27001, NIST or CIS Benchmarks

✅ Experience across email security, DLP, SASE/VPN, WAF, DDoS, API security or Cloudflare

Nice to have:

🔹 CISSP, GIAC, Security+, Check Point, Palo Alto or Fortinet certifications

🔹 Payment gateway, fintech or PCI DSS Level 1 experience

🔹 Experience using AI tools to support day-to-day work
