Cyber Security Consultant

Role overview

Presales and delivery

• Support requirements discovery, solution design, effort estimation, proposals, and Statements of Work.
• Own end-to-end engagement delivery to agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Oversee GRC, security incident management and monitoring, threat defense, VA/PT, and security engineering and architecture.
• Guide consulting and engineering teams through project execution.

Client and delivery governance

• Serve as primary contact for assigned clients; communicate progress, manage expectations, and address risks.
• Explain cybersecurity topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply best practices, frameworks, and regulations; mitigate delivery risks and validate deliverables.

Portfolio and practice development

• Improve service offerings, delivery models, documentation, methodologies, tools, templates, and processes.
• Evaluate new technologies and manage relationships with cybersecurity vendors and service partners.
• Share knowledge, mentor team members, and stay current on threats, technologies, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years delivering cybersecurity services, consulting, or managed security engagements in MEA.
• Strong cybersecurity, regional regulation, and framework knowledge; experience delivering complex projects across multiple service domains.
• Project delivery, stakeholder management, multitasking, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred credentials and frameworks

• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, PMP, ITIL v4, cloud security certifications, or equivalent.
• Experience with frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO, GDPR, UAE IA, NCA ECC, PDPL, SAMA, CBK CSF, or sector-specific regulations is preferred.
