Duration: 3months renewable
Role Summary
Responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks across systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Ensures strong security posture and compliance with regulatory and industry standards through hands-on risk management, control validation, and remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cybersecurity risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities & control gaps
- Develop and track risk mitigation and remediation plans
- Support Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities and maintain risk registers
- Conduct control testing to ensure effectiveness of security measures
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to embed risk management practices
- Ensure alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS
- Support incident response and continuous improvement of risk processes
Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience in cybersecurity risk management
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS frameworks
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation
- Familiarity with GRC tools and risk platforms
- Understanding of network, cloud, and application security
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 preferred
