Role Description
This role is responsible for coordinating and driving incident management activities.
This includes
responsibility for controlling the information flow during incidents, coordinating activity, and driving
incident management, as well as communicating with all engaged entities as appropriate.
This role is
expected to be able to manage cybersecurity incidents in IT, OT, and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- The individual in this role will b e tasked with:
- Coordinating, driving and supporting incident management during Incidents of critical significance.
- Development, update, and maintenance of the plan for response and recovery from cyber incidents in coordination with the concerned authorities.
- Reviewing statistical analysis reports related to cyber incidents and creating follow-up action points based o n findings
- Gathering and analyzing lessons learned from cyber incident response and recovery internally and externally at a critical level for proposing solutions for improvements.
- Creating Cyber Security Incident response and recovery (CIRR)
Department
incident response plans for critical events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree i n Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response frameworks, and best practices.
- 7-9 years o f experience i n cybersecurity incident response and management.
- Experience i n conducting cybersecurity incident response activities in a corporate environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities t o work effectively with diverse teams.
- Expertise in project management related to cybersecurity incident management.
- Relevant certifications such as:
• GIAC Critical Infrastructure Protection Certification (GCIP)
- GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional Certification (GICSP)
- GIAC Law o f Data Security & Investigations (GLEG)
• ABAC Certified Data Analyst (CDA)
- ISA/IEC 62443
• ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- PMI Certified Associate in Project Management
