- Monitor security alerts from tools such as SIEM, antivirus, endpoint protection, firewall, and email security systems.
- Review and escalate suspicious activities, phishing emails, malware alerts, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Assist in basic incident response activities, including collecting evidence, documenting findings, and supporting remediation steps.
- Perform daily security checks and prepare operational security reports.
- Support user access reviews and help ensure access rights follow company policies.
- Assist in vulnerability management activities, such as tracking open vulnerabilities and following up on remediation.
- Maintain cybersecurity documentation, logs, and incident records.
- Follow standard operating procedures for security monitoring and escalation.
- Support compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work with IT teams to resolve security-related issues.
- Diploma degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, such as malware, phishing, firewalls, vulnerabilities, and access control.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addresses, DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, and ports.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
