Role overview
Reports to the Customs Manager.
Rates, releases, and manages customs transactions for a portfolio of clients while meeting deadlines and providing client service.
Requirements and qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the customs brokerage industry.
- Experience with CargoWise One is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
- High school diploma required.
- CCS designation is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work efficiently independently and in a team; detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Rate, release, and manage customs transactions for a portfolio of clients.
- Meet deadlines to provide outstanding service to clients.
